The first class of The Joseph Project, consisting of 10 men, has completed the course and they are well on their way to a new life. They are now working on orders for desks and other items for the school financed by dedicated supporters of We’re All God’s Children and other non-profit organizations. Orders for household items have also come in from new homeowners in a neighboring development who have been impressed with the quality of the work being produced.

Hard at work on student desks

While the men are grateful for the income being generated they are even more grateful for the new life they have found in Christ. Each participant asked for and received a Bible to keep and study. They continue to meet regularly to read and discuss how to apply Biblical truths to their life situations.

Happy to receive their Bibles

I recently received this message from Cosmas Zimba, the project coordinator in Zambia. “They have learned a lot in life skill building and in a personal growth with Christ. I am personally working with these guys and I see a big change already. These are people that want to be responsible for their lives; they are desperately hungry for Jesus. Thank for taking the time to think about the youth of Grippis.”
