Takini Christmas Project

Several weeks ago, our Native American Team Leader was reading to a group of pre-school children and sharing with them how the children on the Cheyenne River Indian Reservation in South Dakota live and how cold it is during the winter.

One precious little girl raised her hand and asked if we could send them some warm “jammies” for Christmas. What a wonderful idea! The preschool and We’re All God’s Children are following that little girl’s suggestion.

Would you like to join us?  There are two ways you can help:

1. Donate a pair or two of new “warm jammies” sizes 6-16 to a board member near you by December 22. For information on where you can drop off your donations contact us.
2. Donate towards our Takini Christmas Project by December 22 and we will purchase the pajamas and send them out.

Temperatures routinely drop below zero on the reservation and warm clothing is a necessity not a wish. You can wrap a child in love this winter with your gift of just one pair of “warm jammies”. Won’t you join us in sharing Christ’s love with a child?
